Qualifications

I have 20+ years experience as a statistical consultant, assisting students and faculty at Southern Illinois University Carbondale (SIUC) as well as other organizations. I also teach both graduate and undergraduate courses in biostatistics at SIUC. Given this background, I can probably assist you with many statistical problems. Services Provided

Study Design – I can help you select an experimental design and method of analysis for your study, and then assist with power and sample size calculations.

Statistical review – I can provide a timely review of the statistical methods in your manuscripts and proposals.

SAS and R code – I have developed an extensive library of SAS and equivalent R code for a wide variety of statistical analyses. They are similar in structure to the textbook code (see Biostatistics: Data and Models | OER Commons), enabling you to visualize the data, conduct the analysis, and then check its assumptions. This library includes SAS or R code for logistic regression, probit analysis, loglinear models, MANOVA, repeated measures using profile analysis or mixed models, nonlinear regression models, and Before-After-Control-Impact designs (used in enviromental impact studies).

Custom programming – I can tailor any of the above code to your problem and help interpret the results.
